Mel and Matt's wedding

Hello readers!

Im no pro in this world of blogging but apparently its an easy way to send photos and updates to family who are far away across the seas. So I'll give it a go!

The first event to update you on is the Wedding of Matt and Mel (John's Twin Sister) on the bright and sunny saturday 9th april. After a wet and raining week the sun shone on their special day at the spectaular setting of burwood rotuna which overlooks the horizon of redhead/dudly beach.

As you can see there was not a cloud in the sky!

Proud dad with the lovely bride!

Togther mel and matt have 12 neices/nephews (7 from the lucas side and 5 from the sharpe side) So each one was included in the day. They all walked down the isle in there outfits then sat on a picnic mat to the left of the rotunda and we ridiculosly cute the whole way through.
About half of the page boy/flower girl entourage! Mel made the broaches for them to wear with the fabric of our bridesmaid dresses.

Our bridesmaid dresses were made by Christine- puter grey blue to the knee with baby blue over the top.

The newly weds being amazingly photogenic

We really hit it off on the bridal party together! (haha)

Love!

Christine also made the amazing wedding cake.

Parents of the bride

I'll finish with this one of Maggie and Harry (who were flower girl and page boy at our wedding) They were so cute dancing around on the dance floor- I guess they were well practised at it!

Now all thats left to do it hit the 'publish post' button and hope this reaches you all!

Lots of love from Australia.

P.S. John and I are thinking of taking an overseas holiday around christmas time...somewhere cold....somewhere where people have those funny accents.....maybe somewhere I have been before but john hasnt??
